The Surefire Torch Holster in Polymer allows the user to quickly access the torch from either a bezel-up or bezel-down position.

A rigid polymer construction protects your light from impact while ensuring an "open mouth" for fumble-free re-holstering. An adjustable spacer allows the molded-in belt slot to be fitted to belts up to 2.25" wide.

In a nutshell, it holds the torch rigidly in place without requiring a flap over the top of it. This ensures quick access to the torch. A very good peice of kit if you are potentially using your torch in conjunction with a sidearm.
